Situated right on the
beach with the adjacent Winston Churchill park, St Brelade's Parish church and
the historic Fisherman's Chapel. |
The historic fisherman's chapel nestles in the western end of the bay. There is a perquage path to the beach from the chapel. The ancient law of perquage allowed an adult who had broken the law to take refuge in the church for eight days. On the ninth day they had to give themselves up or walk down the perquage path to the sea where a waiting boat would take them in to exile forever. |

St Brelade's Bay beach with its golden sands and old harbour is just yards from the front of the hotel. Fishing boats are still moored by the old harbour and sometimes a boat will come ashore with a few fish boxes full of shining mackerel fresh from the sea. |
The majority of our well fitted and comfortable apartments have seaviews and some have balconies as well. Perfect for enjoying a leisurely breakfast in the sun or a relaxed evening meal while watching the sunset over the bay. |

The public Beau Bar is one of the few bars in Jersey which is adjacent to the sea and which has panoramic views from all its windows. The Bar and conservatory open onto the sun terrace which also overlooks and has direct access to the beach. The terrace is extremely lively during the day and flood-lit in the evenings for a leisurely nightcap. |
